Our Club Name is now Classic Round Robins

Our club name is now “Classic Round Robins”!

Come September, we will restart activity in our club by offering four quads:  two Above 1750, one with 60+30 time control and one with 90+30 time control, and likewise, we will offer two Under 1750 quads, one with 60+30 time control and one with 90+30 time control.

By offering Above and Under quads, we will avoid extreme Rapid rating discrepancies between opponents.  If we have enough active members, we can create future quads with even narrow ratings limits. 

While we encourage playing games within designated rounds, an advantage to quads (and hexads) is that, if necessary, to avoid a forfeit, with agreement between the two players and the tournament director, games can be played outside of designated rounds.
