PCS Chess #5 (K-12) on June 3 at 3:40 pm

   PCS Chess continues with K-12 student tournaments the 1st Wednesday of each month at 3:40 pm and tournaments open to all Pinellas County residents the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Game on!  Here’s how students can play in PCS Chess Online #5:

  1. On June 3, between 3:25 – 3:39pm, go to www.chess.com/live#t=1243210 or in chess.com go to Play, then Tournaments, then search for PCS Chess #5. At 3:40, chess.com will match you up with an opponent. Each player will start with 10 minutes. If you run out of time, you lose (same result as a checkmate).
  2. This tournament has 4 rounds; each round will start 5 seconds after the end of the last game of the previous rounds. Players can follow live games in the games tab of the tournament page (next to the Standings tab).
