Tournament Details

• When: Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10 AM PST (1 PM ET). Our monthly blitz tournaments always take place on the last Saturday of the month at this time, so you can always plan ahead!

• Format: This is an Arena Tournament, meaning continuous, non-stop chess for one hour! Players are automatically paired, aiming to score as many points as possible in rapid succession. No rounds, just pure chess adrenaline!

• Time Control: Get ready for a quick match with 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment per move.

• Prize: The first-place winner takes home a $20 USD Amazon gift card! I'm personally funding this prize, making entry completely free for you.

• Eligibility: Open to all players with a minimum of ten games played on Chess.com. There are no rating restrictions, so whether you're a seasoned master or just starting your chess journey, you're welcome to join. For newer players, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience against a variety of opponents.
