When: Wednesday, December 27th at 4:18pm PST 

Who can participate in this battle?

Tournament Format Type: Arena format for 1 hour and 30 minutes. That means nobody gets eliminated from the tournament, even if she/he looses. You simply just play for the 1 hr and 30 minutes. All the games in this battle are unrated! Let's play our best and have fun! This is just a friendly competition! 

The time control for all of the games in this battle is 5|5. 

We'll be playing against National Master Craig Clawitter's (also known as Beerded NM) chess.com community.   

Who is National Master Craig Clawitter? He is another respected chess teacher just like me! He is based in the Los Angeles area.  Here is his website: https://www.chess.com/club/beerdeds-chess-community

Only players with a chess.com account in good standing are qualified to play in the tournament. At any point a player has an account that's been closed, they loose the right to play in the battle. No exceptions. Cheating is never tolerated in all of my tournaments/battles!
