POETS AND WRITERS OF CHESS.COM FIRST COMPETITION!

Ello everyone


This is your Admin Aoife speaking

Now that we've had time to get a feel for each other's styles we think we're all ready for our first themed competition!

The theme will be.. *drum roll* CHESS!
Now I know this may shock some of you.. But I’m sure you will somehow find yourselves a link with the theme.

So that everyone gets included in this historic moment the competition is open to all styles of writing! From the heartfelt poem of lost pawns never to return home to their mini-pawn children to the melodramatic scene of two queens pulling one another’s hair out. Or maybe you could even short story your way through the confusion of the Kings Gambit! The options are only limited by your imagination so have fun with it

All this will start in approximately 7 days so this is your chance to stir or beat the creative juices into motion

Voting will be done by you the members! Now I know its going to be a huge decision to make with all the different styles but just go with what you feel - is too crazily good to be true!

I will post the boring guidelines and what not later in the week
