PogChamps 6: Prediction Contest!

We're excited to announce that everyone's favorite chess tournament for amateurs is back! Starting April 29, PogChamps 6 will bring 12 celebrity creators and professional athletes together to participate in the world's funniest and most unique chess competition. 

The event will feature a $100,000 prize fund, a condensed four-day format, and the highest average of blunders per game anyone has ever seen in an event of this magnitude. Leading up to the event, players will have the chance to join coaching sessions with prominent chess coaches to prepare for the competition! Read more about the participants here.

Format

Players will compete in a round-robin Group Stage before moving on to either the Championship or the Consolation Bracket for a single elimination Knockout. 

Matches consist of two games played at a rapid time control of 10+5. In case of a tied match, players will keep contesting 3+5 games until there's a winner. The player with the better accuracy score in the main games starts the tiebreaks with White.
