Population Growth

Did you know we hit our first billion people on this planet in 1850?, then in 1965 we hit 3.5 billion people(almost quadrupled in population). We doubled up to 7 billion in 2010, at this rate we will double up again by 2050. Each person requires 2 litres of clean drinking water per day. We will drink 28 billion litres per day(never mind running out of oil and gas) plus the amount of water we use for everything else. That's why we should not take this for granted. In a country like Canada of a population of roughly 35 million we use more water than places with a billion(that's abuse). Sure were a country of plenty but at the rate we use our resources this may not last forever. Growing up I never thought we would have to pay for water. One day this will be a very valuable commodity (it could be worth more than oil).
