Here are 2 great examples of how a pawn center can be used once you have one:

Here is an example from the game Karpov (white) vs Miles (black) in 1992. Karpov obtained a large pawn center and rolled it forward destroying everything in its path.

So part 2 of the lesson talks about a mobile pawn mass... What is a mobile pawn mass? Answer: A large pawn center which is mobile! Nimzowitch shows it perfectly:

We next look at another example of this mobile pawn mass and we see that sometimes the pawns are just too powerful and giving them up for an attack is the right kind of loss:

With such power comes great responsibility so what happens when you have a pawn center but are careless?

To end this lesson I have a puzzle for you... This is a longer one but it is a very nice pawn center attack!
