Chess University's Prodigy Program, our academy's flagship offering that has helped over 20,000 students improve at chess through live, online learning returns on February 16th! Learn more about the Prodigy Program below.
What is the Prodigy Program? - The world's first and only live, online chess learning program taught by premier coaches - Fully structured curriculum with live lessons, video lessons, study guides, puzzle packs, etc. - Personalized learning with student game analysis by top coaches - Hands-on training with special perks such as occasional live lessons with world champions, email support, and access to a community of great chess enthusiasts - The #1 online chess training endorsed by five-time world champion Viswanathan Anand. - Students of the program have gone on to break national chess records (including becoming the youngest chess master in American history at that time).
What's new in the 2019 installment of the Prodigy Program? - All live lessons are now powered by two-way voice technology enabling students to ask questions verbally or through a chat box. Class sizes will be smaller and lessons will be more interactive. - New social tools for Chess University students to interact with one another and direct access to Chess University coaches outside of class time too. This will be fully rolled out by March 2019. - Three pricing tiers ranging: $75/mo for live training, $99/package for structured curriculum, and $150/mo for the full program.
Who can enroll? The Prodigy Program is open to chess players of all ages (including adults and seniors). Anyone can sign up for our self-paced Prodigy Program packages (which are being published soon on our new site) but registration for the full Prodigy Program will be processed through our admissions department. We intend to admit just 100 students into the full Prodigy Program in February.
How can I sign up? Applications for the February 2019 Prodigy Program open shortly. Our next update will contain full details about the Prodigy Program including rating sections, schedule, etc. as well as a link to our application form for those wanting to join the full program. Links to the self-paced packages will be sent out later this week.
