Next excersise: Attack during one-side castling

There are 2 types of attacks: with pawns and with pieces.

Pawn assault - the attack is carried out with the help of pawns, and Piece attack is carried out with the help of pieces

For a successful attack of each type, it is necessary to have weakness in the castling position, or such weakness must be created during the attack.
The "h" line is often opened up, and decisive actions are developed along it.

Pawn assault

This method of attack is carried out by pawns to open lines for invasion with pieces. Pawns "f", "g" or "h" move forward.

It should be remembered that unreasonable movement pawns from the king can lead to an irreparable weakening of the position of the attacker. In most cases pawn assault is effective only with a closed center - a stationary pawn structure.

Piece assault

To successfully carry out an attack with piece, it is also necessary to open the lines. Attacking pieces can become a real battering ram, leaving no stone unturned from a solid enemy positions.
