Qualifiers Week 2 Results + Double Dozen Match-ups
Hola amigos y amigas, bloggers, and members of BlogChamps!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Week 2 just ended, leaving us with 58 submissions, crushing our goal of 30, and allowing us to qualify 12 users per week! In total, 112 blogs were submitted in the entire qualifying stages, with the participation of 83 different users!
Big thanks to everyone who took part! We broke the record for most submissions in Week 1 + Week 2 once again, making this the greatest season yet!
Judges of the Qualifiers Week 2 @JustGettingThisOffMyChess, @nbrasington, and @ChocoCaramelPawn judged all the blogs fairly with amazing speed. I would like to thank them for doing an awesome job. It is time to show you the results!

Congratulations on qualifying for the Double Dozen! Your hard work paid off! If you qualified, please leave a comment in this announcement confirming your participation in the knockouts. You can also send a DM to @VOB96 or @ChocoCaramelPawn. Check out the next matches:

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Attention: @DocSimooo, @HornetCruise, and @theeldest1 were Top 8 in Week 1 and still submitted in Week 2, helping us break the record. Therefore, they are allowed (optional, not mandatory) to use the same blog they submitted in Week 2 for the Double Dozen round. It is up to them.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, a message for those who didn't qualify: Unfortunately, it is game over for you this season. But does that mean that you should give up and quit blogging? No! Look at the bright side:
- Your blogs got more views and recognition!
- Your blogging skills have gotten better!
- You got valuable feedback from experienced bloggers!
- You can try again in BlogChamps 11!
- You can still submit your blogs for monthly competitions in the Blogger Awards 2.0 club!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don't give up! We believe in you and hope to see you back in season 11! The judges also left you feedback to improve. You can see it in this forum, along with your score and ranking:

DOUBLE DOZEN KICKOFF
We are pleased to announce that the knockouts have begun! Only 24 users survived one of the toughest Qualifiers that BlogChamps has ever had, and now they will have the chance to prove themselves among the best!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The rules are much simpler now:
• You have until February 1st, 23:59 EST (Eastern Standard Time) to submit your blog in the forum down below.
• That means you are given 15 days to write and submit a blog. If you cannot fit in this deadline, message @VOB96 or @ChocoCaramelPawn, and we will try to negotiate, but please do it only in case of an urgency.
• Please don't forfeit! Imagine how many people wanted to be in your place, how much time judges spent looking through your blogs... I hope you respect that! If you really see no other way, please let me know as soon as possible so you can be replaced. But again, try your best not to.

FAQ
1) This bracket does not show the next match-ups. How will I know who my next opponent is if I qualify?
- The pairings for the next round (Terrific Twelve) will be determined by the overall seeds. The highest-seeded among the qualified bloggers will be matched against the lowest-seeded one. The second-highest will be matched against the second-lowest, and so on... Therefore, it is only possible to know your next opponent once all the results have been defined. Read: Season 10 Knockout System.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) I was not qualified. Am I allowed to stay in this club, or should I quit while insulting everyone?
- We'd love to see you stick around, follow the rest of the Season, keep improving your blogs, and enter Season 11! In the meantime, don't hesitate to message @VOB96 or @ChocoCaramelPawn for feedback on your blogs, and you can always count on at least two readers. 😊
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) I'm qualified, but I've lost the motivation and don't want to write anymore. Would it be too bad if I just didn't submit it without informing anyone?
- Yes, it would! Please try your best to submit a blog, even if it can't be perfect. The main idea of this competition is... well, to compete. I'm sure you'd hate to go to the stadium to watch your favorite sport and find out that one of the teams simply didn't show up. No one forced you to join, but now that you are in, I kindly ask you to play until you are eventually knocked out (or win). So please submit a blog or let me know well in advance (next 2 or 3 days maximum), so you can be replaced in time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4) If I am not competing, should I continue to follow the Season, or am I no longer welcome and should stop talking about it?
- The more viewers, the better! You are welcome to make predictions (forum coming soon), read the submitted blogs to learn with them, pick your favorite blogger, and follow all the announcements to see who will be crowned in the end!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
P.S. If you've submitted a blog for Week 2, or if you will still submit one for the knockout round in January, don't forget that you can also enter the same blog in the monthly competition of The Blogger Awards v2.0 club, where prizes are awarded by category, increasing your chances of winning a medal for the strongest points of your post.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
@VOB96 and @ChocoCaramelPawn are open to questions in the comments or via DM, but please only ask if you are pretty sure the answer is not explained here.
Good luck!
