Since you guys were unable to negotiate a time, we decided on a time for you.

Both Round 1 matches will be on Saturday 26th, at 2:05 pm (right after the bughouse tournament).

Please tell this to the members of your house. (We'll probably make a news post in the Bright Chess club too, but, y'know, people don't always check those things.)
If you've already decided on a seeker and your seeker is unable to make the match at this time, please decide on a different seeker.
Sorry for the difficulties you guys had negotiating. That was our fault for not coming up with a good system for you guys to choose and decide on match times.
In order to avoid the confusion that happened this week and also lessen your workloads, for future matches (Week 2 and beyond), we're thinking about having a fixed time for matches each week. That way, instead of having to ask your players each week what times they're available and then negotiating with the other prefects, everyone would come for the matches at the same time each week. You guys would only have to focus on communicating with your house members and making sure enough people come to fit the quota. You would also have more time to focus on organizing your house events.
We're thinking about 2:05pm each week. What do you guys think? Please feel free to suggest times based on you and your house's availability (please don't suggest times when 李老师 has a class though).
