REBIRTH of The Phoenix!
Hello all!
I am a new SA here, and my goal is to "renovate" this club to make it better than ever! After that has been achieved, I will focus on maintaining this club and keeping it active!
ADMIN/SA:
If I think you are a worthy candidate for an admin, you will be promoted. You should be responsible, trustworthy, committed, passionate about chess, and somewhat active at the very least. If an admin does not meet these criteria, they will, sadly, be demoted (exceptions can be made: school, business, vacation, etc.)
MATCHES:
Does anyone want to play matches against other teams? If you do, please contact me or any of the admins (we currently have none...) and we will try to organize it. We are not ready to play against big teams yet, so please suggest clubs that are under 100 players. You can also contact us for vote chess, live tournaments, etc.
AWARDS:
After we attain an ok-sized admin team, we can start giving out awards (premium?) and trophies to the players that show dedication, skill, and good sportsmanship. There will be awards such as: Player of the Month/Year, Participation Award, MIP, and MVP.
FORUMS:
Again, we need admins to organize all this. But some time in the near future, we will have some forums including: Chess Puzzles (self-explanatory), Admin Roles (to show what admins do), Team Rules/Constitution (The one where we can discuss rules and all that formal stuff), and more. Please leave a comment about which ones you want.
WEEKLY PUZZLE:
If someone wants to be the "Weekly Puzzle Guy," PM me please. This is a fun way to engage members and discuss some puzzles. Requirements for being that guy (FYI: they will get admin): Active, is somewhat good at chess, has some skill in blogging, and can put everything together. I will discuss details with whoever messages me. In the meantime, I will do the puzzles (every Sunday; if they come early or late that'll be because of time zones).
That's it for now! We will try our hardest, even if slowly, to make this club active again.
