Members,

I have received many requests from members to start team matches and vote chess games in Chess.com University. While we are the largest group/team on the site based on membership numbers, it must be noted that we are not actually a group/team on the site. Chess.com University is a global leader in online chess instruction that has a group presence on this site. I don't think we will organize any team matches or vote chess games in Chess.com University in the near future so if you want to play in team matches, vote chess games, and participate in other group/team activities, I recommend joining these teams:

The Power of Chess

The Power of Chess is among the largest groups on the site and has been ranked #1 on the Chess.com Vote Chess Leaderboard and Chess.com Team Match Leaderboard. The Power of Chess is one of the most active chess-playing teams on Chess.com.

U.S. Chess Federation

With over 1,800 members, U.S. Chess Federation is the largest U.S.-based team on Chess.com. With 86% team matches won and victory in 90% of the vote chess games, U.S. Chess Federation is one of the strongest chess-playing teams on the site. U.S. Chess Federation was ranked #1 in the May 2014 vote chess ELO rating list as calculated by Chess.com member Daws74. U.S. Chess Federation is known for its high-quality discussions in vote chess games. If you wish to learn from participating in vote chess games, U.S. Chess Federation is the best team to play for.

However, only U.S. citizens, residents, and/or members of the actual USCF may join this group. Those who join without meeting one of the requirements will be promptly removed. Only those who have something to do with chess in the United States should join.
