Registration Open

Registration for today's chess tournament is now open! To register for the event, go to our club page and under upcoming events, click "SOLO Chess Tournament" and click "Join".

Today's tournament will be a Swiss style tournament (Read about it here: https://support.chess.com/article/758-what-is-a-swiss-tournament ) You'll play 5 rounds against 5 different players, the player with the highest score at the end will win! (Prizes are available for the top 3 score-ers. You're username must include your name or you must DM me your username before the tournament starts in order to be eligible for prizes.)

You'll have a total of 5 minutes per turn (this is to allow you to be able to work while competing) However, please be considerate to the other player by making moves as fast as you can.

To be fully honest, I don't know this site very well and have never run a tournament, so please bear with me as we go. After today's tournament, I would love to hear feedback on what could be done better or other suggestions that would help if we hold future tournaments.
