Reminder: Chess.com Bughouse Championship Qualifiers Start Today - Grab Your Bughouse Buddy!
Dear Bughouse Fans!
The Chess.com Bughouse Championship Finals will be held on Friday between eight teams. To play in the Finals, each team must reach their spots through the Qualifiers. These take place from today through Thursday, with two qualifiers happening each day.
Check out the schedule, as the events have different start times each day:

- Qualifier 1: Monday, July 7 at 11 a.m. ET / 17:00 CEST
- Qualifier 2: Monday, July 7 at 5 p.m. ET / 23:00 CEST
- Qualifier 3: Tuesday, July 8 at 1:30 p.m. ET / 19:30 CEST
- Qualifier 4: Tuesday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET / 00:30(+1) CEST
- Qualifier 5: Wednesday, July 9 at 11 a.m. ET / 17:00 CEST
- Qualifier 6: Wednesday, July 9 at 5 p.m. ET / 23:00 CEST
- Qualifier 7: Thursday, July 10 at 11 a.m. ET / 17:00 CEST
- Qualifier 8: Thursday, July 10 at 5 p.m. ET / 23:00 CEST
More details about the qualifiers:
- Each qualifier is a two-hour arena.
- Time control: 3+0.
- The top team from each arena qualifies for the Final.
- Players who have already qualified for the Final cannot play in subsequent qualifiers.
Any member of the Chess.com community can join. You can check the full qualifier schedule here:
Click the "Join" button to participate in the qualifier that best suits your schedule. We may require participants to join a fair play video call. Players who join the call must set up two cameras from different angles in the room. Players who refuse to comply will be removed from the event.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
While the Qualifiers are open to all players, only players who team up with the same partner throughout the entire arena can qualify for the Final. Individuals without a fixed playing partner can join the arenas and will be randomly assigned new partners throughout the event. However, they won't be eligible to qualify for the Final. To partner with a single teammate and be eligible for qualification, please follow the instructions in our help article after joining the arena.
