Renewable Energy Resources
Wind, sun, water - what do these have in common?
1. They're in nature
2. They can all be used to create clean, sustainable, energy sources.
Correct! Wind, sun, and water can each be used to make eco-friendly resources.
Wind Energy:

Wind turbines use wind to create energy, which means that they save billions of gallons of water, and they don't pollute the air at all! Ture, wind turbines can kill birds and bats, but according to this site, new technology has made sure that happens less.
Solar Energy:

Solar energy turns sunlight into energy. Unfortunately, like wind, it can work in places better than others. Places with not as much solar energy can't get enough energy. Keep reading to see how this problem might be tackled.
Hydroelectric Energy:

Hydroelectric energy uses water to create energy. Unfortunately, it can't be used in dry places, such as Kansas.
How do we Fix all these Problems?
Have you ever heard of the saying 'alone we can do so little; together we can do so much'?

This quote will kick in when talking about energy sources. If we can have windy places be powered by wind turbines only, and sunny places be powered by only solar, and places with lakes be powered by hydroelectric power plants, then I think we will have a greener future! (We still have gas cars. See alexboradke's post about electric cars for more information about that).
