Requesting Coach Feedback: Do You Use Video And Audio In Classroom?
Hello coaches, we've heard your feedback about classroom and some of the technical issues that you are experiencing, and we'd really appreciate your feedback.
When we built classroom, one thing we were excited to add was video and audio built into our classroom product. It can be a great experience to fire up a session with students and have everything you need in one product!
At the same time, we have learned that many of you are really happy with the video and audio products that are already out there - Zoom, Skype Meet, etc. These products will always have more features than we'll have.
Our feeling is that it may make sense to remove the video and audio tools in Classroom so that we can focus on the best possible "shared analysis" experience. Then you can use Classroom along with a product like Zoom to have a great class. As video and audio requires a lot of work to maintain, this would free up more time and resources to make other improvements in classroom and increase stability.
We definitely haven't made a decision here, but we'd love to get your feedback and discuss the situation with you. Please share your thoughts in the thread, and thanks for all you do to share the love and knowledge of chess!
