Restarting The Club Activities

Hi guys,

As you know, this club is decreasing in strength and activities are drastically going down. We are gonna completely refresh the club with some fresh features for you guys!

The club is going to have exciting new features, with a restart of current features.

Introducing - Club League!

Club league is a group of people participating in a group of tournaments. Each one gets to choose their own category. There will be four categories. Each of them will be competing with one another. The pairings of categories will be decided after the registration. One participant from one category plays with another participant in another category. Players have 4 tickets 🎟 to play with. Players may play in any mode which is mutually agreed by both players from both categories. Players get trophies for winning/losing matches. Players have two different modes to play - 

1. Usual Rapid/Bullet/Blitz/Classical Unrated Match - Costs 1 ticket for each match. 

• 3 trophies  for each winning match | 1 trophy for each losing match - for non-premium chess.com members (like me 😂).
• 5 trophies for for each winning match | 3 trophies for each losing match - for premium members 

2. Power League - Special mode where you have to win two unrated matches against one player out of 3 rounds. - Cost two tickets.

• 7 trophies for each winning match | 5 trophies for each losing match - for non-premium chess.com members
• 9 trophies for for each winning match | 6 trophies for each losing match - for premium members.

Rules - 

1. Please be honest and do not use more than 4 tickets.

2. Organise along with your opponent and play at a mutual free time for both you and your opponent.

3. If you are starting a game with you and your opponent, ping me. Your message should contain your opponent's username, your username, your opponents and your categories.

4. Games should be played fairly. Please do not use engines thinking it is an unrated match and chess.com does not get suspicious. 

5. Once a game is completed, please immediately report to me. I will be noting it and also noting your remaining tickets for that day. 

INCASE OF A TIEBREAKER BETWEEN THE GAMES - 

Your tickets will not completely taken, but partially. For example, when you use 1 ticket for 1 match and the match ties, 0.5 tickets out of your remaining tickets will be taken away from you.

In the same way, for power league, if you draw the 2nd match after winning the first one, 1 ticket will be taken away from your remaining tickets. You will have to play the third round to continue. If you lose it after winning the first match, it is a tie. If you win the round, you are the winner.
