Revitalizing, Resetting, and Reinventing. What Will It Be?
Please Note: Those who have joined this club to help me by providing feedback on my new book are not expected to participate in the original intent of this club. You may, if you wish, but there was no intention on my part to push you in that direction. I am just thankful that you have agreed to read the draft of my new book and provide me with some constructive feedback. I used this inactive club to facilitate feedback because it seemed the best way to do it. Thank you!
Those of you who have joined this club early on, understand what the purpose of it was intended to be: Taking a Disciple's Journey together, using the book, A Disciple's Journey, as a guide to follow. I have totally neglected this club. Please accept my apology. In case you do not know why, it is because I was heavily involved with CYCT and quit all the adult Christian clubs I was in to focus on helping the youth and the leaders in that club. I recently left CYCT because it was taking too much of my time and I was neglecting other God-given responsibilities. Part of those responsibilities is to get the word out about my book and help others benefit from it as they seek to become better disciples of our Lord.
I have also been working on another book, The Amazing Adventures of Poly, the Amazon Parrot, which is meant to be an enjoyable fiction book which teaches life lessons and nudges people toward Christ and gives insight to young Christians to help them navigate the challenges of our times. Since I do not have a paid membership at Chess.com and this club has been inactive, I recently added a forum and invited some special friends to join so they could read an early draft of this book and provide me with constructive feedback on this book.
I am asking feedback from current members as to whether they want to remain in this club and do together what the club was meant to do; whether they want to remain in the club to help me with my current book project and possibly future book projects, whether they want to do both, or whether they want to quit the club. Whatever path you take is OK with me. I will not thing less of you regardless of what you choose to do. I would appreciate it if each member provides me with their honest feedback through a PM or through commenting here.
