Rock wins 2020/21 Newham Junior Grand Prix

Rock Yu today won this year's grand prix with a total points score of 329. He could manage only second place in today's tournament, but his performance over the series left him 30 points ahead of second place Aryan Gohil.

Taiki Mumford won a tight race for third place. Going into the final round of today's tournament any of four people could have won, but salvaging a draw via stalemate, against a fellow contender, was enough for Taiki by the margin of one point only.

Girls' champion, for the second year running, was Laurelle Asare. Brian Jiang was the top-place under nine.

Lukas Volungevicius was the winner of today's grand prix tournament, with 5/5.

The 2021/22 grand prix will start in September.
