Breaking news! The Auburn Chess Club accepted my challenge to an 8 board Live Match next week. We cannot allow those mountain goats to roam freely in our valley. More details to be announced.

Starting on April 25, I plan a weekly kids & amateur tournament restricted to players with a Chess.com rapid rating under 1400. While this new event will target kids, adult amateurs are also welcome. The format will be 4 rounds at G/10 + 3 second increment. The kids & amateur tournament will begin at 1:30 PM and participants may choose to play at 3:00 PM as well.
