Saturday Afternoon Chess on September 26
Let us celebrate half a year of online chess for the Sacramento region. Pawn Storm #26 is on Saturday the 26th!
Join the Sacramento Pawns club for our weekly COVID-safe chess every Saturday afternoon. The Kids & Amateurs starts at 1:30 PM for those under 1400 in Chess.com rapid rating. Everyone may participate in our main event: the Pawn Storm beginning at 3:00 PM. Call your friends and invite them to play chess!
Unfortunately, the Kids & Amateurs was canceled again last week due to insufficient interest. The system requires a minimum of 4 players to start the tournament.

Who: Open to club members under 1400 Chess.com rapid rating
Format: FOUR (4) ROUND Swiss in one section

Who: Open to all club members regardless of rating
Format: FIVE (5) ROUND Swiss in one section

Where: Live Server under the Tournaments tab at the upper right
Time control: G/10 + 3 second increment
Minimum: Need at least 4 players to avoid automatic cancellation
USCF Rated: No
Entry: Free
Prizes: Glory and Chess.com rapid rating points
