SCOTTISH COUNTIES COORDINATION COUNCIL

A few weeks ago, I posted an announcement asking Members to help with Club recruitment. Coincidentally, Team Scotland Admins have also been looking at ways to recruit new players. One outcome is that Team Scotland and the nine CC County Championship Scottish Clubs are working more closely together through the Scottish Counties Coordination Council for the common good.

We believe working together can aid recruitment. County clubs are more likely to recruit in local OTB clubs and events, while online-only players are more likely to search for and find Team Scotland. Promoting each other helps both sets of players find Team Scotland and their local County Club.

We also believe that sharing occasional reports of Team Scotland's achievements in the various county clubs and the achievements of the county clubs within Team Scotland will help to foster a strengthened community spirit across all Scottish clubs.
