Season 4 Finals Results
(Sorry for releasing this so late, even after the judges finally judges I never quite found the time to make this)
It's over. After all of the pain, suffering, drama, and excitement that Season 4, probably the bumpiest season yet, entailed, we have finally reached the conclusion. But who will come out on top as our fourth BlogChampion?
The finals were better thanI could have hoped considering the quality of the season, and it was equally good if not better than last season. While some judges didn't feel that @nbrasington's post was quite up to his typical dominance, it would still be an inctedibly tough submission to beat for @the_turtlepro.
Speaking of Turtle, he came out with one of his better posts ever, making the battle incredibly tough. Both blogs were good, neither were perfect, and none quite seemed to stand out much more than the other. After three judges (me, nimzo, and hornet) had judged, nbrasington was up 2-1, and so we couldn't end it yet, and neither don or mugi came online, so we were just stuck in suspense. Eventually we asked @rodgy to judge and he voted for...
@The_turtlepro.
Leaving us back in limbo.
Eventually Don got online in order to break the tie, and this was the moment of truth, would he give the win for the rapidly rising star, or the persistent veteran who's been waiting for this moment for almost a year? With Don having cast his vote, the winner of BlogChamps Season 4 is...
@The_turtlepro! After a hectic week of judging, Turtle has finally completed his goal of winning, after competing (and qualifying) in every season to get here, and it must feel really good. Turtle will be recommended for Top Blogger by don, and he will be invited to judge for Season 5, but he won't be the only blogger with a shot, as both Hornet and Nimzo aren't judging next season. Applications will be out soon, although @Rodgy and @Fire will be invited, and if one of them accept, then applications will not open. Season 5 starts October 1st and registration will open soon. Once again, congrats to both finalists, and good luck with your future blogging enterprises!
