Second edition of our 10 minutes 960 chess later today
Hello Squeezed Oranges,
It seems like a lot of members are currently busy working, spending time with their loved ones or playing chess elsewhere. We haven't been able to organize club tours lately because members of the club come from all over the world and have different schedules and I believe most members are not even aware we organize club live tours.
Why join ? Because the majority (and probably you too) of our members have an elo rating ranging from 900 to 1500 which is in my opinion the most entertaining chess to watch because the games are already played at a good chess level yet anything can happen. At SOC - CG we try to bring at least 4 tournaments per week, mostly standard chess but we'd also like to have more 960 chess, KOTH and 3+ checks tour in the future.
Some other reasons our club is great:
- members from all over the world chatting together in the club notes. It's great to be united because we share a common passion 😊
- great performances in club matches and vote chess 😎 and we're just getting started 💪
- Admins from all over the world. - Each tour we award a game with the 'GAME OF THE TOURNAMENT AWARD' ! At the end of the month I'll present to you two new awards to celebrate our best and most involved members 😊
- And the best reason is because we keep an updated OVERALL RANKING IN THE CLUB TOURNAMENTS that we post each time we complete 3 or 4 new tournaments. Since the club is rather new, a lot of our members can quickly climb up the ranking 😉

The first 960 chess tour we organized was I believe the most entertaining tournament we've had until now. That's why I scheduled in approximately 5 hours the second edition of the club's 960 chess tour. Here's the link to join, registration is possible 1 hour before the event.
