Aloha Kakou!
As many of you saw, a Ugandan interloper somehow joined our club just prior to the event, played and won the event.  There appeared to be evidence he was cheating with computer assistance--such large leaps in playing strength online ought to be greeted with some healthy skepticism--and congratulated if genuine!  DURING the event, I asked him/it directly who he/she/it was--just in case it was actually one of us playing surreptitiously.  When I received no response, I banned and kicked the player out.  Despite this, it was still allowed to complete the tournament.  Haha!  Ok.
I intend to conduct events allowing assistance of devices ("Team" events? Man&Machine?) or perhaps other variations.  No need to cheat in any of our events.  I prefer simplicity and honesty--over sophistication.
If you find yourself banned because of casual suspicious activity, just reapply and convince one of the Super Admins that you are indeed, JUST a human.
Please don't share the "JOIN" link with anyone we don't know.  I think it's the only way a Ugandan can join us--if he was given or somehow acquired a membership link.
I've attempted 3 emails to the Scholastic Email list that I've always used and all 3 messages have failed over the course of today.
