Sharing Work and Comments

Hello, Writers!

And a Happy Thanksgiving Greeting to all the Americans on board.

There's been a lot of new folks of late and so I just wanted to post a refresher reminder or two about general guidelines on the topics that are put up dedicated to your pieces and projects (i.e. these are not enforced rules).

If you need to edit the original post, you can edit it in-place, thus preserving any already existing comments. The convention usually is also to somehow indicate on the post what was editted.

If you want to put up a second draft, then i would encourage you to add to the topic rather than starting over - often its very rewarding and educational to see the work's "progression" and therefore the creative process in action.

Please do not delete topics and repost if the purpose is to get rid of all the old comments. Since there are no "audit trail" as to whom does the deleting, there could be the appearance that maybe the group's administrators are being heavy-handed in their "policing" or what not - it could even smack of censorship.

Rael, the founder, never censored and neither have I or any other previous PWoC administrator.

PWoC continues to be a place where we can respect each other's creativity and opinions or at least learn difficult lessons on how to do just that.
