Simultaneous Exhibition - NEW FORMAT!
Dear Chess Friends!
Since our last Simul you learned several important topics:
• A Wedged Pawn into the Enemy Camp
• How to Block a Pawn Chain
• The Breakup of a Position
And now it’s your chance to demonstrate your improvement in chess. Who wanted to play vs a titled player? Everyone is welcome!
This week I have decided to conduct 2 Simultaneous Exhibitions so that I am able to pay even more attention to each game and play against more chess players!
The first Simul is going to take place on Tuesday, 20th of July on my Twitch channel .
4 PM Sydney Time
7 AM London Time
2 AM Eastern Daylight Time
How does it work? You can attend this webinar as a player or just a spectator.
If you want to be a player – subscribe for my Twitch channel and message me at tricksofchess@gmail.com that you would like to attend the Simul as a player (point out your chess.com username in this message). This exhibition is limited to 10 players only. That’s why I recommend you to send me an email right now if you’d like to take part and reserve your spot.
When we start the Simultaneous Exhibition, just log into your chess.com account, enter the “Live Chess” section and send me a challenge (30’+30”, unrated). My nickname on chess.com is Gertsog. (Don’t forget to send me a friend request)
If you want to be a spectator – just watch the live stream, suggest moves and lines, or just comment on it. I’m going to comment on my moves and ideas too!
What do you get from such an exhibition? First of all, you get an opportunity to play with a titled chess player. Second, you will learn how the master thinks:
• What to take into account before making a move
• What is useless (or doesn’t deserve our attention)
• How to evaluate the position
• And how to come with a plan in a complicated position
If we have enough time, after finishing the games we can analyze them.
