Dear Chess Friends!

Sometimes in chess it’s about using what the pieces you have wisely. It happens from time to time that just one or two pieces can overpower an entire army. This Sunday, I invite you to join my next workshop: “Attacking with Limited Forces.”

I will tell you about positions where a rook and knight, a bishop and queen, or even a lone passed pawn supported by a king can pose serious threats — from decisive mating patterns to material-winning tactics and unexpected drawing resources like perpetual check.

🗓 Date: 06/08
Time: 11 a.m. EDT, 4 p.m. UK time, 5 p.m. CET

During this session, you’ll learn:

  • How to recognize the key conditions: vulnerable king, poor coordination, advanced passed pawns
  • Classic examples like the Arabian Mate, Anastasia’s Mate, Morphy’s Mate, and others
  • Endgame attacks with minimal material
  • Why even in equal or worse positions, limited forces can flip the game

Why should you attend?
Most players underestimate how much a “small attack” can do in game. This workshop will help you spot opportunities where others only see defense. You'll learn how to stay sharp, coordinate efficiently, and use geometry and timing to outplay stronger forces.

Register now and receive the Zoom-link before the event! Your participation is absolutely free, you just need to register here: https://chesslance.com/masterclass/

See you at the workshop,
FM Viktor Neustroev
