Sommerville House Chess Tournament: May 1

Held at Sommerville House on May 1 @ 6pm

The tournament is divided into four divisions, which cater for all levels of play from beginners through to more advanced players.  We encourage all schools to enter as many teams as they wish, and in particular, encourage beginners to enter the “Novice” division.  Players who have a Qld Junior rating should enter “C” Grade.

Applications need to be completed by Wednesday 29th April, 5:30.

Cost is $60 / team (which is $15 each).

Teams are groups of 4 - within the same ranking.

Currently we have one team, headed by Austin.

We are looking for one more player to make up a second team. Please contact the chaplain by the end of week 1 if you know of someone who is interested in joining a novice division team.

We can make a third team if their is enough interest, again, just let the chaplain know.
