Hello,

The universal thing we share is that we all want to improve at the game we love!  Here are some time tested methods:

• Play stronger opponents.
• Play slower games with longer time controls (serious games).
• Write down your moves.
• Conduct post mortems and further analysis.
• Engage with puzzles.
• Read and practice Chess strategy and endgames.
• Review openings.
• Seek out Plus, Minus, Equals, i.e., work with a mentor, mentor someone else, and discuss ideas with peers.

The Murfreesboro Chess Club is having a business meeting tomorrow night to help facilitate most, if not all of those methods.
