Summer is nearly here and so is more chess activity for CFC! We are excited to announce we have two open matches, one open rated game vs The Grey Wolf and one that mixes things up a bit with a Chess 960 match vs Knights of the Chivalric Order! Who doesn't love some Fischer Random Chess now and then? That match is for players rated 1600 and under, as there has been some concern about higher rated matches pushing lower rated players out, causing fear that they will not be able to compete. NOTE: Your 960 rating will be different than your regular chess rating, so higher rated players in daily chess can likely still join. Feel free to check out the matches and join up! The more the merrier.
