It's been a while and there's lots of news! First, the next daily tournament link is below. It uses the same popular format we've used for a while now. The tournament will start a week from Friday!

In other news, the Chelsea District Library branch of the club is thriving! We're still getting 15-20 kids every single Tuesday, and have some great competition going on. If you haven't had a chance to join us in person, feel free to do so. We meet from 3:30pm to 5:00pm every Tuesday. (except those where the Chelsea School District is closed ie snowdays)

We've also had several members participate in over the board USCF tournaments in recent months with one member, Levin placing high enough (4th) to earn a trophy!

Also congratulations to everyone who participated in the last tournament. I offered a free one-month diamond subscription to three random participants, and you should already have seen that added to your account. The exception is Eric Smith. Chess.com tells me that they can't do this to an Apple subscription, so give me a shout and I can Venmo you for one month!

Congrats to Jeremy for winning that tournament, your trophy is under construction!!

Finally, I think I'm going to start posting game reviews and other educational content that we present at CDL on a substack page. The link for that is here:

The plan is for everything I post there to be free. I want to add an option for people to subscribe if they want to support the club but that that would be PURELY OPTIONAL. The club here, and the club at the library will always be free.
