START of the 2022 FFA World 4PC Championships

Tonight, at 7pm US Central (00:00 UTC of June 4, 2022) the first Qualifier of the $1000 Free-For-All (FFA) 2022 World 4 Player Chess Championships (W4PCC) will begin!!!

Due to server issues, the first Qualifier Arena will take place at Old Standard Chess - Tournaments - Play Chess Variants Online - Chess.com AND the first qualifier will be OPEN TO ALL (normally qualifier arenas will be 2200+ rated) until the main server is restored. This arena will be "rated" but will not affect your rating on the main server. This will disable chat between players, protecting anonymous chatting issues that were realized during the W4PCC Unrated Warmup arenas.

When the server restores, it will be back to 2200+ only and we also ask that players playing refrain from using the chat since it is known that unrated anonymous games chats are not disabled.

We apologize for the inconveniences. This is the best solution we have for the short notice given the server issues.
