Starting Position:

 The starting position is similar to Chaturanga. The King and Royal Fairy are swapped so that the Royal piece is still on the d file. Rooks are replaced by Dragon-Bishops and swapped with the Elephant's position. Knights are replaced by Xiangqi Knights, and the 2 edge pawns replaced by inverted pawns.
