Chess.com University Experts and Masters

We have plans to introduce chess programs aimed at experts and masters who want to improve and become international masters or grandmasters. Those who have heard of the Prodigy Program can think of this as a program in the same format with interactive live lessons that get recorded, study guides, written lectures, PGNs, puzzle packets, emailed game analysis, occasional exams, class textbooks, etc., except that it is aimed at players in the 2100-2300 Elo zone. Such a program would be taught by strong international masters and grandmasters.

The primary concern is tuition. Considering that the market for 2100-2300 Elo students is small and that an all-star IM/GM coaching team is not economical, it is difficult for us to design and run such a program without substantial amounts of funding.

With that said, we are willing to try this out this concept for at least one month to see if this can work. But first, we need some information from 2100-2300 Elo players.

(1) Are you be willing to try out such programs?

(2) What would be your maximum monthly budget for a full chess learning program taught by top IM/GM coaches? Or alternatively, how much do you currently spend on one-on-one coaching?

(3) How much time do you have to study chess on a weekly basis? What should be the pace of this program? How many hours of self-study time do you want per hour of live lessons with GMs? How many hours of live lessons with GMs do you want per week?

(4) Choose your coaches. Provide a list of 10 IMs/GMs you would like to see teaching in the program.
