Teetime27 Wins Sunday Brew 2!!!

In an odd occurrence, Teetime27 went 3/4 for their overall record. HOWEVER, they didn’t lose a game! In fact, they had a draw, TWICE! Those two draws @ 0.5 points each, combined with his 2 actual wins equaled 3 total and gave them the overall victory! 

The next 4 people were all tied at 2.5/4 but the tie breakers split them up with gorgonfrimann taking the Silver medal and last week’s champion, steve_pathnem, taking the Bronze medal today. 

During our tournament, chess.com was having server issues, disconnecting us players and causing a lag. Many of us kept thinking our personal connections were bad, but it was happening to all of us, site-wide. 

In all, 12 of us from around the world turned out to play and there were some fun games with some interesting twists. In fact, in one of my games, I accidentally moved my rook right into the space for a bishop to just take, for free. Bad enough as that is, it didn’t just happen once. I did it TWICE in that game! Literally, just “I’ll move my rook right here so you can take it, with no consequence.” TWICE!
