Thanksgiving Week in the US ... so many things to be thankful for, including Round 5 of the DHLC Classic Tourney!
It is Thanksgiving Week here in the US and I want to tell you all how thankful I am to be the TD of this tournament with such a great group of players. Some of the sportsmanship I get to see between the players really does make it worthwhile. So, thank you all for participating in the tourney.
A few things to note:
- VERY IMPORTANT! ... this round will last 2 weeks due to the holiday. Games need to be completed by 18:00 EST on Monday, 5-Dec. Since it is the holiday week and a lot of American players may be travelling, please allow some extra time for everyone to respond to messages.
- As a reminder, all games must be rated games of G60+30s time length.
- Game results must be posted in the comments of the pairings announcements and if you have issues getting in touch with your opponent make sure you contact me via private message.
We are getting down to the final 2 rounds and all the sections are still up for grabs. The 1500+ section is the tightest but all the sections have seen some great games.

That's all I have for now. As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask, either here or by sending me a direct message. I will do my best to respond/answer within just a few hours (unless I am sleeping or in a stupid conference call for work ... can't wait until I am retired ...)
