Date: Monday, 11th May at 8:30 pm Bangladesh Time (7:30 am Pacific Time)
Format: 9 rounds of Blitz ~ (3+2) 3 minutes plus 2 second increment per move.
The Flaming Tigers are proud to announce the 15th Flaming Tiger Online Blitz Event on Chess.com. This is a private Online Blitz Chess Tournament run by GM Ziaur Rahman, FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, and Tahsin Zia in association with chess.com on 11th May, 2020
Tournament Schedule and Format
The tournament format is a nine-round Swiss open with a time control of three minutes and two second increment(3+2). The tournament begins at 7:30 am Pacific Time( 8:30 pm Bangladesh Time) and is expected to go on for 2 hours.
The Champion
The Champion of the tournament will get the title Flaming Tiger and he/she can use it in his profile. Later there will be a tournament where only the champions of this tournament series can participate so if you become a champion you are advised to screenshot it and keep proof of it so that you can participate in the Ultimate Tournament. The champion will also get an official Flaming Tiger Card featuring the champion.

- Tournament Rules
- You must have a Chess.com id.
- Players from all over the world can participate.
- The tournament will be conducted as a nine-round Swiss with (3+2) time control
- Organizers reserve the right to refuse an entry without giving any reason
- The provisional standings of the tournament will be displayed immediately after the last round but the final rankings will be displayed after a thorough check is completed for all the games played..
- Every participant agrees to abide by the rules and site policies found at chess.com/legal and that you will cooperate fully with Chess.com's fair play detection team.
- If your account is further convicted of fair-play violations, your account will be closed and you will be subject to Chess.com's private proceedings. You can find more information on Chess.com Fair Play and Cheat Detection methods.
- Having a stable and decent internet connection is the sole responsibility of the players. Chess.com or the organizers cannot be held responsible for any disconnections, lag or forfeits.
- Players are advised to be logged into live chess at all times! If you visit any other page or close the tournament window, you risk being forfeited from the event.
