The 2024 Chess Champions League

The time is now nigh for the second annual edition of The Chess Champions League!

Now onto the Format
This year, the Autumn Team Cup Tournament will be based on multi-club arenas and comprises two distinct phases: The Common Round and The Final.

The Common Round
All five active NSPCL Teams will compete in two different arenas. Day 1 (Saturday) starts with a 1-hour Blitz 5|0 Arena, followed by a 30-minute Bullet 1|0 Arena.

Teams will earn points based on their finishing position in each Common Round Arena, with points awarded in the following order: 7, 5, 3, 2, 1.

The Common Round Standings
In the Common Round Standings, team positions will be determined by points earned, cumulative arena sum, and the number of games won by each team's players.

The Final
The top two teams from the Common Round will advance to The Final, a 1-hour Blitz 3|0 Arena showdown on Sunday night. 
The winners will be crowned The 2024 Chess Champions League Champions!
