The aborted Daily Club Match - an answer by Chess.com

As promised, I asked support@chess.com about the Daily Club Match aborted by the club 5 for Fighting:
Dear Chess.com!
A few days ago, our club https://www.chess.com/club/club-of-numbers received a challenge from the club https://www.chess.com/club/5-for-fighting-1 for a Daily Club Match.
Our @jetoba accepted the challenge and five of our members joined the Match https://www.chess.com/club/matches/1574701 From the opposing club, one of their members joined the Match.
But the Match disappeared before it started, When we now try to show it, we receive this message:
The Match You Are Trying To View Has Been Aborted
It seems that our opponents have aborted it! What do you think of this? Is it bad sportsmanship? After all, they challenged us, not vice versa!

I was rather surprised when I received this answer yesterday:
Hello Tony!
I am Vuk, thank you for contacting Chess.com Support on this matter.
If a club doesn't end up getting enough players to join a Team Match, the Match will be canceled since there aren't enough pairings for it to continue.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily bad sportsmanship but just that some tournaments and matches won't end up having enough participants to be held.
I hope this clarifies it.
In the meantime, let me know if you need anything else.

It seems that they ignored these two facts:
- the Match was for 1 - 5 players and
- at a certain moment, there was one player from the opposing club who joined the Match...
Nevertheless, I consider this matter closed.
