This is a great opening to use in chess. The Rutherfordium attack is where it goes to Be2 at the minimum on move 2. It's called this since on the 2nd period (horizontal line) of the periodic table, that's where beryllium is. You can either go 1. e4 or 1.e5 to create 2. Be2.
