Welcome to all the players and teams participating in this championship!
The captains and assistant captains of each team should take note of the following rules to be followed.
1. No substitution of players will be allowed after the 1st round has begun. Meaning the starting 6 players will be the same players to be playing up to the last round (6 rounds). In the event that a player drops out of the match or does not want to continue with the tournament, he cannot be replaced by another player and will be considered to have defaulted his games in every match his team plays.
2. Every round starts on the 1st day of each month. Teams on the left side of the pairings will issue the challenge to the teams on the right side of the pairings. Matches are expected to start 3 days after the challenge had been accepted.
Match Name: Canadian Team Championship Round 1
Days per Move: 3
Players per Team: Max: 6
Concurrent Games per Opponent: 2
Auto-Start when Maximum Players is reached
Games are rated
3. Points scored on all boards and in all rounds will be added up for the final score (cumulative scoring). Match point will not be in effect. The idea is to put importance on every game played regardless of whether the team is winning or losing the match.
4. Most important of all: Don't forget to have fun!
