The Club Rules

Here are our club's rules.

If you don't, we will mute/ban/report you considering the situation

Follow these while you are in our club.

• Advertising

         We have become an independent club. So type the name of the club and let the members find the club themselves. In short,

NO MORE ADVERTISING HERE

Advertise in the advertising forum only

THIS APPLIES TO ADMINS AND CORDINATORS ALSO

• Complaints

        Complaint in our complaint section ONLY

• Spamming/Scamming/Swearing

         Don't do this here in our club

• Active participation

         Participate in most tournaments and vote chess if there are any

• Be kind to fellow members

         And be sure to report people who are not kind

• Be nice

            No bad words

• Bullying/Blackmailing

         This is a serious offense and this is not allowed

• (This rule applies to admins)No banning anyone without an SA's permit

         You will be demoted otherwise

• Slander

         Another serious offense.

• Admins :No inaproppriate stuff in the news and forums

         Will be demoted otherwise

• No 'Text talk abbeviations' here

         As soon as possible is better than ASAP

• No youtube advertisements

         Do not advertise youtube channels here

• Do not abuse, attack, threaten, discriminate, or mistreat other members in any way

          Report people who do thisNo meaningless comments

          Say it instead of spamming it

• Do not advertise your company's products

           No 'Buy my company's products' here

• Do not debate religious or political activities here

           This is a chess club. So talk about chess related topics (and news about coronavirus is also okay)

          And I mean it

• Don't lie to people

          Tell the truth

• Don't get mad

          No reason to get mad here

• Keep everything rated PG-13 and below
• Do NOT send other club's tournament links in the club.

           That is a form of advertising and as above we do NOT take it here.

• Do not ask for promotion.

          If you do, it will not be taken into consideration.

SPORTSMANSHIP RULES

• Never abort games in matches or vote chess or club tournaments

          You will waste an opportunity to win a game

• Never make opponents wait unnecessarily

          You waste their time

• Don't quit without resigning

           You waste their time then also (except in Daily game tournaments)

FAIR PLAY POLICY

• Do not get help like a chess engine, or your friends or cousin's help in a game
• Always resign if you feel you have lost, don't wait and waste your and the opponent's time
• Don't abort pureposely; You waste time of yours and the opponent's

PUNISHMENTS: 

• You can Get Muted for Bad Words, Spamming and Telling Lies
• You can get Demoted for not joining tourneys and matches if you are online and can, Doing Bad Stuff
• You can get kicked if you don't follow the rules

Rewards: 

You can get promoted or get trophies.

You will be given 3 warnings. If you ignore them and still break the rules you will be muted/banned/kicked depending on the situation

Remember: You are a part of our club! So follow the rules.

And report those who break the rules in the complaints section.
