Phoenix october update

this is the begining of a new dawn for the phoenix

the team has had a lot of false starts in the last few years that have proven dissapointing to both admins and members

over the last few months several new admins have been added,some good additions  and some that have just not worked out and have left ,but we now believe that we have a rock solid core of admins willing to use their spare time to help provide members with a team with stability,vitality and determination to grow into a pleasurable and competitive chess team.

During the next month several ideas will be put into place by the administrative team and there will be forum topics for each idea so we can have some feedback from members before and after said ideas are put into place.

The vow by me is that the ideas below and then some  will be discussed ....and hopefully initiated...during november....:=

TEAM CONSTITUTION-basically what the phoenix team is all about

TIMEOUTS-to stop timeouts in team matches

PROMOTION-any member wanting to become an admin will have tuition by S/A or head adminfor at least 2 weeks before being unleashed on team matters,plus any additional help if needed

TEAM RULES-just a list of rules and guidelines for members and admins

DEMOTION-as well as having a path for members to become admins,sadly we need a reverse procedure for admins who do notshow the dedication to provide the service promised by themselves

ADMIN ROLES-just a list with admins plus their roles in the team

THE MEDAL TABLE-monthly/yearly table for all members competing in phoenix team matches,1 point per win highest wins in a calender month gets member of the month trophy/medal and these totals get carried on throughout the year and the highest total gets member of the year trophy,ongoing fun and very addictive way of filling up matches

INVITES-all new members to be sent welcome package to include trophy,team rules and thank you for joining and up to date list of open matches

MEMBER ACTIVITY-just to gauge which members are active in team
