The Planes & Chess Daily/Vote Chess Handbook: IMPORTANT
We play a lot of chess in this club. If you are in a vote/daily chess game or plan to be in one, read these important points and tips.
1. In Daily Chess, Assistance IS Allowed (with caveats)
During a daily game, you are allowed to use books, opening databases, self-analysis tools, lessons, and videos, so long as they do not involve another player or engine evaluating your specific position.
- Use the self-analysis board: Use the non-engine analysis board to play out sequences of possible moves.
- Plug moves into opening databases to find master games that follow the same line and what the master played next.
2. In Daily Chess, Use Conditional Moves
Conditional moves automatically make a preplanned move if your opponent plays a set move. They can be used to gain a time and psychological edge and are useful for obvious trades. To toggle on conditional moves, press the two arrows button and set a move for your opponent and your response.
3. Use Time to Your Advantage
Use your time to your advantage. Use your time to look tor opportunities and plan your moves carefully.
4. In Vote Chess, DO NOT Vote Moves You Know Are Bad
You will be removed.
That's it! Good luck and play well!
