Theory64 is proud to have the chance to nominate 1 male and 1 female player to participate in a global event in collaboration with Chess.com and GM Judit Polgar.

Date: Saturday September 23rd 2023 

Time: 11am ET 

Format: 7 Round Swiss of 3+2 Blitz. Link to event here

The top male and top female will be nominated for the final. More details on that below.

• 1 Month Diamond for 1st place + 2 hour masterclass with GM Judit Polgar
• 1 Month Diamond for 2nd place 
• 1 Month Diamond for 3rd place
• 1 Month Diamond for 4th place
• 1 Month Diamond for 5th place

Even if the top performing male or female does not finish in first place, they will still be nominated and win a Diamond Membership as well as the masterclass lecture. For example, if a male player finishes 1st and the top performing female finishes 7th, then 1st place and 7th place will be the two nominees.

Fair Play

Chess.com will run fair play checks before prize distribution. We will have VIP Fair Play Screening for this event. Do not cheat, stall, or perform any abusing actions. Any form of cheating or abuse is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.

Nomination for Final Stage on Chess.com

The final will take place on Chess.com on October 14th at 11am ET (not to be confused with the qualifier on September 23rd).

The male and female nominees will automatically receive a 2 hour masterclass lecture with GM Judit Polgar. To accept this part of the prize, you must also accept to play in the final on October 14th. If not, the next best performing male/female will be nominated instead.

This final stage will have prizes as follows:

• Winner: 1-year Chess.com Diamond Membership + a Chessable Voucher valued at 150 euros to be redeemed for any course.
• Runner-up: 6-month Chess.com Diamond Membership + a Chessable Voucher valued at 100 euros to be redeemed for any course.
• Third place: 3-month Chess.com Diamond Membership + a Chessable Voucher valued at 50 euros to be redeemed for any course.
• Best female player: 6-month Chess.com Diamond Membership + a Chessable Voucher valued at 100 euros to be redeemed for any course.
• Best U2200, U2000, U1700, U1300, and U1000: 1-month Chess.com Diamond Membership + a Chessable Voucher valued at 25 euros to be redeemed for any course.
