THIS SATURDAY: Free Annual Chess Simul in Cupertino!
Hi everyone!
Looking for a fun, free challenge this weekend? Join us for a local tradition!
The popular Cupertino math teacher, Mr. G, is hosting his annual Chess Simultaneous Exhibition (Simul) this Saturday, January 31st in Cupertino, CA. I will be participating as a simul giver, along with several other experienced players—including my former student!
What is a Chess Simul?
It’s an exciting event where one advanced player takes on multiple opponents at the same time, moving quickly from board to board. While the simul givers have to think on their feet, you get plenty of time to strategize and calculate your next move until they return to your board!
Who Can Play?
- Students: 3rd grade and up (experienced 2nd graders are also welcome!).
- Adults: Parents and community members of all skill levels are encouraged to join in!
