Anyway, back to the topic about the the Three Queen Checkmate. The Three Queen Checkmate is a type of checkmate in chess that uses three queens by promoting 2 pawns or 3 pawns if the queen you start with get captured. If you do not understand what I am saying, here is the three queen checkmate on a chessboard.
As we see, black went haywire and started to capture all of white's pieces (except for one pawn) and also promoted 3 pawns because white's king captured black's queen on f1. We also see how much power black's three queens have on the chessboard. It controls 32 squares on the chessboard and that makes white's king stuck. This checkmate is very use full when you only have like 5 pawns.
After reading all this, you might want to play chess against your best friend and use this checkmate on your friend to win but, not so fast. This checkmate is one that a grandmaster would stop from happening so if you want to use it, below is a short list of recommendations if you want to use this easy but powerful checkmate.
- Make sure that the opponent new to chess or a beginner.
- Make sure you know how to move the queen. If not here is a link to learn how the queen moves
